The narrows of Zion National Park have been a muse of mine since I began photographing the western United States. Reflected light illuminates the canyon walls with a golden glow contrasted by the rushing blue waters below. Finding this scene requires miles of hiking in the river through small rapids and deep pools which adds to the sense of adventure.
