Early summer brought surreal stormy clouds to the Tetons. Having already spent 2 days at this campsite I was getting anxious for something special or unique to present itself. The previous night had ended with an anticlimactic grey sky with flat light. The following morning I was delighted as a thick blanket of fog slowly lifted and broke apart. Moments before the scene was flat and cold until the rising sun's warmth unveiled the massive peaks of the Tetons towering above.
