Shooting on large format film created challenges that deter most photographers from taking the chance. At this time in my career it was the only choice for capturing the finer details of a majestic place like Antelope Canyon. Situated near Lake Powell on Navajo Lands, my daughter and I spent the day wandering the halls of this stone cathedral searching for compositions that stirred the imagination. This particular sculpted stone stood out if only for a brief time as the reflected light cast a warm glow over its flowing wavelike formations.
