Incredible amounts of snow blanketed the entire SW although I had driven to Zion to escape the ominous weather! Embracing the storm, I headed out for hours exploring areas that are thronged with tourists on any given summer day. This scene at Weeping Rock was so dynamic as a waterfall formed from the melting snow and cascaded over the cliffs of this famous grotto. Since November of 2023 this area has remained closed after a massive rockfall changed the landscape and continued instability has created dangerous conditions.
